Hi there.

As ashamed as I am to say this, i've locked myself out of XP once upon a time.
I found a linux boot disk that allows you to reset or blank out any password.
It seemed to work well (It let me back into the box:). I found that 
blanking the admin
password was simple and effective.

The boot disk can be grabbed from:

One thing to remember is that if files owned by administrator have been
encrypted, resetting the admin password will make them useless (atleast that's
my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong).
