It really depends on that you want to do, the only common thing is to look at the WSDG (Wireshark Developers Guide) and the READMEs in doc/ and of course to compile Wireshark yourself. Once you are there you need to decide where to go next - enhance an existing protocol, add a new protocol, work on one of the GUIs etc. In case you you have only a rough idea of what you want to do, just ask again.
Thanks in advance. And pardon me if the question is naive.
Don't worry, it isn't - feel free to continue asking! Ciao Jörg -- Joerg Mayer <jmayer () loplof de> We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works. Some say that should read Microsoft instead of technology. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev () wireshark org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
