regarding PPI

hi,
 Can someone explain how the 80211 packets be captured in PPI format
written in the packet-ppi.c file ?
For now, I see only the path for dissect_80211_common seems to be used
without the is_ht flag, which essentially make me wonder how wireshark
identifies 80211 n packets (atleast the management frame) ?
