Hi, The version of X on this machine was much to old for wireshark, but I did have a successful build of the command line tools. I'm working on getting GnuTLS and Gcrypt support too, but there are issues with AIX. E.g., tshark -v: TShark 1.2.9 Copyright 1998-2010 Gerald Combs <gerald () wireshark org> and contributors. Compiled (32-bit) with GLib 2.20.5, with libpcap 0.8, with libz 1.2.3, without POSIX capabilities, with libpcre 8.10, without SMI, without c-ares, without ADNS, without Lua, without GnuTLS, without Gcrypt, without Kerberos, without GeoIP. Running on AIX 5.3, with libpcap version 0.8. Built using gcc 4.5.1. Thanks, John Glynn Technical Specialist Information Systems BJC Healthcare (314)362-9828
