How do you test your dissectors?
I always have the protocol I'm writing a dissector for already on the network that I can capture and test the dissector with.
Or are you using a program where you can modify the frame preferences and send it each time? If you use such a tool, which tool is it?
You can use netcat (or nc) to generate arbitrary packets. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sent via: Wireshark-dev mailing list <wireshark-dev () wireshark org> Archives: http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev Unsubscribe: https://wireshark.org/mailman/options/wireshark-dev mailto:wireshark-dev-request () wireshark org?subject=unsubscribe
