Hello, I have a query on data link type option in Wireshark. While decoding packets in Wireshark, we have an option to select the data link type (ex. Ethernet) for decoding the plug-ins. Now my question is, is it possible to decode the protocols directly without data link? My idea is if Wireshark can directly decode plug-ins with out a common data link type, it will be faster. Please share any ideas on this? Best regards, Upendra Please do not print this email unless it is absolutely necessary.
