Hello Krist,

In HTTP protocol preferences, you can add "SOAPAction" in the HTTP custom
header fields table and restart Wireshark. When you open the trace after
that, you can use "http.header.SOAPAction" for filtering and for adding
custom column.

Abhik.

Hello all,

I'm using Wireshark to debug SOAP requests. I'm having a few issues though.

- Is there way to filter out http/xml requests based on a custom http
header? Suppose I want to see all the http requests where the
SOAPAction header has a particular value. How would I do this?
- Is there a way to display the contents of a custom http header in a
collumn? Right now HTTP is decoded, and the method and URL is
displayed. Can http headers be displayed to? What about custom
headers?

Thanks in advance,

Krist
