My son and I were discussing troubleshooting DIS applications.  I mentioned that Wireshark might be helpful in this 
regard, but didn't know the details.

I passed your info along and told him to look into it further.

I don't have any experience using Wireshark to filter DIS
PDUs.

That being said, Wireshark does have a DIS dissector so
filtering in the 
usual manner for DIS should work. Click Expression in the
Filter Toolbar 
and select DIS to see the possible filters.

Are you having problems looking at a capture with DIS
packets ?
