Hi, Wireshark is purely dissection, it uses dumpcap for capture. No sending of packets. There are other tools for that: see http://wiki.wireshark.org/Tools for a list of them Thanks, Jaap Yigit Turgut wrote:
Hey Everyone, I am currently learning stuff and having fun capturing packets and generating them etc. I am able to capture traffic without no problem, but when it comes to generating those captured packets again I am stuck! I choose a packet and go to File>Export>as C arrays but saved file does not consist of packet data it is only skeleton structure. I was wondering if I am doing this wrong or wireshark doesnt have a feautre like that ? All I want to do is to be able to generate and send only 1 packet same in the capture. Any suggestions ? Thank you
