Just an ID-code for the header of a .GIF image.. just like an .EXE or .DLL
would 
have either 'MZ' or 'ZM' :) 

try doing 'JFIF'.. should also give an image-holder.. that's the ID-code for
a .JPG :)

Explorer 6 creates an image container:

Unclear what to do with it though.
