Call for Papers . First Annual Canadian Security & Intelligence Conference (CSIC). Calgary, Alberta, Canada The Canadian Security & Intelligence Conference (CSIC) is a three day conference running from August 19-21 focusing on security concepts, security research, and intelligence. It is meant to be a forum where security professionals and researchers can share methodologies and ideas. Talks should be at a minimum 1 hour in length with an additional 15 minutes for Q&A. Longer talks will be considered based on their contents. Talks are not to be a product or service sales pitch and should be informational and technical. During the three day conference there is an opportunity for evening break out sessions and panel discussions so if you wish to submit an idea for one of these please do so. Everyone is encouraged to submit their ideas as all papers will be judged on their content and relevance not just .the name. on the paper. Potential topics include, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Response, Forensics, Penetration Testing Techniques, Research Methodologies, newly discovered vulnerabilities, wireless security, new developments in cryptography, full disclosure, etc. Send your papers to cfp () entrenchtech com. A small honorarium will be provided and all travel arrangements (flight, hotel) will be taken care of (up to a maximum amount) as well a dinner for all speakers on August 21 will be hosted.
