Has anyone seen any problems with Bind 8.9.1? I am about to take it into a production enviornment, I would just like to know if anyone has had any problems with it.
A reminder to folks that when I allow a post through like this, I'm looking for security-related problems, not general functionality problems. I allow these from time to time because usually someone is sitting on some little tidbit of info that is security related. Ideally, they would just post it, but it doesn't occur to everyone until someone asks.
If you secondary for anyone using Dan Bernstein's tinydns, they will need to apply a patch available on the tinydns site. BIND 9 is unable to do zone transfers from unpatched tinydns.
In particular, I'm not interested in having any of the djbdns vs BIND wars here. That's what dns () list cr yp to is for. :) BB
