Is this registry entry for WinNT or Win2k? I checked my Win2k box and
didn't have the explorer key in policies.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ExplorerNoDriveTypeAutoRun = 7f
It's for NT, both 4 and 5. If the value or key does not exist, create it. BTW, the data to set is 0xFF to turn off ALL autorunning. Jesper M. Johansson
