Systems Affected:
All Windows based machines running LockDown 2000.

The Problem:
LockDown 2000 main text display limited the amount of text that could be

entered in the main display window.  If an attacker made over 200
connections to a logged port, error messages of "Text exceeds memo
capacity" would appear. In versions of LockDown 2000 v6.0.0.1 and
6.0.0.2 additional messages of "Cannot create file ldtr.bat" would take
place just before crashing the program.  The above two versions would
also create Winoldap processes in the process list causing the user to
restart  LockDown 2000.

The Fix:
The problems above were fixed in version 6.0.0.3 of LockDown 2000 though

the current version is 7.0.0.1.  Licensed users can click on the update
icon found on the main menu of LockDown 2000. Unlicensed users can
upgrade to the new version at http://lockdown2000.com/download.html
