Your apache probably has have FP extensions... Don't be fooled by the .exe , obviuosly ie requests the same URI regardless of platform.... As for why ie uses FP extensions while downloading a .doc file, I have no clue... Probably some stupid thing like the "icon bookmarks" stuff and stuff like that... /olle
