The HP series of calculators have IR communications and they had a similar problem with virii, people have IR they'll use it to communicate, to send applications and data, the one I was warned of just "infected" the "OS", then when you sent some data it tacked on itself to the end of the data, and because on the HP all data is executable, as soon as they ran it, their HP was infected and so on...
