pcap_get_selectable_fd vs. pcap_next (pcap_next_ex)

Hello,
 
I am building the application that must capture high volume of packets
on several network devices with intensive variable load.
 
What is better in terms of capturing all packets?
Use pcap_next and several threads - one per a network device
Or
Use pcap_get_selectable_fd in one-threaded application
