Where did they mention a modified version of Ethereal? (The libpcap patches - which I haven't rejected, I just haven't had time to look at them and check them in; changing jobs tends to leave one with less free time for a while... - should allow Ethereal to capture on those devices without changes to Ethereal, and if "pcap_findalldevs()" lists those devices then, once Ethereal is converted to use that routine if present, they should even show up in the drop-down list.)
