[libpcap] "Network is down"

Hi,

I'm making a sniffer program that do not use pcap, but work in the same way.
I'm having the error "Network is down" when I try to do a recvfrom(). I 
created a RAW socket and correctly binded it to the interface i want sniff. 
Does anyone have an idea of the cause of this error ?
