Installing snort on public server

Dear all,

I have installed Snort on a WIndow OS public server. The installation was
successful, version 2.9.18.
When we try on a personal computer, everything is going fine.
However, when we deploy on a public server in our datacenter, we encounter
an error showing "Cannot parse the IP address 20x.6.3.2/128.255.255.255".
Any expert to guide any solution for this?
