Writing your own SNORT 3.0 Codec and Inspector

Hello all,

I am writing my own codec and inspector in SNORT 3.0, there is guide to
write codec in extending.txt but there is no guide about how to write your
own inspector. Is there any guide on inspectors as well?

Secondly, after writing your own codec and inspector how to load them in
existing SNORT? Do i need to configure SNORT again after adding my plugins?
What is the procedure of writing and using your own codec and inspectors?
