Conversations on lists.

Complaints have been raised to me about certain threads and conversations on the list.  This is a reminder to keep your 
emails on topic, be comprehensive in your emails, don’t “shoot off a one line email”.  Let’s make sure every email to 
this list helps each other out and does not waste time. Steps have been taken to try and mitigate this activity.
There are tens of thousands of people on these email lists and filling up your peers inboxes should not be your goal.  
The goal should be to help each other out with Snort.  The Users list is for users.  The development list is to work on 
development of Snort itself.

Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “Unsubscribe” and follow the directions.

Everyone on these lists signed up to be here and double accepted the subscription.  Every subscription to the mailing 
lists requires you to confirm it.
