where give the interface specifications asked by snort ?

Hello,


where give the interface specifications asked by snort ? ( I have set all Home net variable at the begun of the snort 
conf file)

the error is the following:

can't initialize daq afpacket (-1) - afpacket_daq_initialize: invalid interface specification ''!

When I put the network interface name by '-i' caller It answer the same error between quote for the interface network 
name
