You need to know your bridge 😉

example : your bridge is 192.168.1.254

Your IP for snort also is 192.168.1.1 if it is a slash 24

For a class B you need to know how many address you have by vlan

if It is all the class b also It is a slash 16 !!!

Provenance : Courrier<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> pour Windows 10

Objet : [Snort-users] Snort doesn't see any interfaces

Hi,

I'm a new tech worker without much experience and I'm trying to configure SNort on my company's network. On snort.conf,
I input my ip v4: ipvar HOME_NET 172.21.4.1/22<http://172.21.4.1/22>. But unlike home that everything works fine, here
I can't see any interfaces. I installed Wireshark and Wireshark is able to catch all traffic but not on Snort. Please
help!

Thanks in advance.
