snort not started issue

["THATHA SRIDEVI (N130230)" <n130230 () rguktn ac in>]

i get this error  Failed to initialize dynamic preprocessor: appid version
1.1.5 (-1) after initialising this command sudo snort -T -c
/etc/snort/snort.conf
what should i do? pls help me
