snort installing error

Hello,


I have this error too when I use the option –with-dnet-* but It is installed,

checking for dumbnet.h... no

   ERROR!  dnet header not found, go get it from
   http://code.google.com/p/libdnet/ or use the --with-dnet-*
   options, if you have it installed in an unusual place
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

It failed but I went to download libdnet then I went to paste the command line install witch the option –with-dnet-* ,
