MD5 Checksum Discrepancy

Hello all,

    After downloading the rule lists from the Snort download page, I
went to compare them to the posted MD5 checksums. However, none of the
checksums I generated for the registered rule lists matched the posted
checksums. I generated the following checksums for the registered rule
lists:

|        cd49001195e90ae69838c61fd0be6cc7  snortrules-snapshot-29120.tar.gz
        1dfb051ea6ccfcca96b14ecf2bbef49c  snortrules-snapshot-29111.tar.gz
        f896674f3505688c9bd6696d56d0fb1f  snortrules-snapshot-29110.tar.gz
        0a52bb5bc0cd746a8a8d9233b38029fe  snortrules-snapshot-2990.tar.gz
        deef4c18b434243b2b1e540af67826e5  snortrules-snapshot-2983.tar.gz
        ca6fcfd17a896f7672faf4df73e042ac  opensource.gz||
|

The community MD5 checksums did match. Is the MD5 checksum file on the
site out of date, or is there an issue with these files?

Thanks,

Tom Lenz
