where is the default location of snort conf file

Hello,
Where the snort conf file must be locate ? Is it in the snort etc? or the local etc  ?
 
I'm confused, I had  installed snort again in the same computer but in another user account , Now i see more than one 
snort conf file , As below:

/etc/snort/snort.conf
/etc/snort/rules/snort.conf
/usr/src/snort-2.9.9.0/etc/snort.conf
/home/hduser/snort_src/snort-2.9.9.0/etc/snort.conf
/home/hduser/community-rules/snort.conf

So my question is : when i perform  snort commands, where is the default location of conf file that the snort will look 
for and use it ??
