Barnyard2 installation - unable to find mysqlclient library.

Hi all,

 

I am trying to install Barnyard2. I am following the article -
http://sublimerobots.com/2017/01/snort-2-9-9-x-ubuntu-installing-barnyard2/
for installation.

 

After executing the following command-

 

./configure --with-mysql --with-mysql-libraries=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu

 

I found the following output-

 

ERROR: unable to find mysqlclient library (libmysqlclient.*)

  checked in the following places

        /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu

        /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/lib

        /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mysql

        /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mysql/lib

        /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/lib/mysql
