How to force Snort 3.0 Alpha to run in multiple threads

Hi all,I’m testing Snort 3.0.0-a2 with theoptions –max-packet-threads is configured to 2, 4 , 8 …, like this : 

 

$ sudo /usr/local/snort3/bin/snort-c /usr/local/snort3/etc/snort/snort.lua -R/usr/local/snort3/etc/snort/sample.rules 
-r ../ni0.pcap -n 600000 -z 8

 

However, when I used valgrind tocheck  the number of threads that Snort is actually running on, there’s always just 
2threads :

So is there anyway to force Snortto run on more than 2 threads ?
