BARNYARD2 NOT READING LOG FILES

Hi all,

          I had installed snort and barnyard.Snort generates alerts as well
as barnyard read log files for very first time but it does not read
recently added alerts.Eventhough the log files are generated, Barnyard2
does not  shows alert cache.I am new to snort and linux kindly guide me.
