Snort on Red Hat Workstation?

I have been assigned  to learn about Snort utilizing the following:

Red Hat 7 Workstation running in Virtual Box.


What download version of Snort would I need for Red Hat 7 Workststation?

And yes-new to Snort and Red Hat. Being thrown into the fire so to speak.
Any help would be appreciated.
