Problem reading pcap files

hey everyone,

Im running some tests over snort 2.9.5.3 and I have some weird problems.
Basically I run Nessus and OpenVAS scanning over snort and he doesn't 
trigger any rules.
I stored pcap of the scan and run it against snort with -r flag and on 
HTTP Inspect the number of GET/POST methods are 0, but after some 
analysis with wireshark, I discover that those kind of methods exists 
but somehow, snort doesn't "find" them.

Is this normal? or anyone have some identical problem?
