Fwd: Snort anomaly detection

Hi
Now I have two Question about Snort :

1. When will Snort V3.0 will be released? How much can we relay on the
anomaly detection functionality in this version?
2. As we know, Bro-IDS is a good solution for anomaly detection, so if we
look at a more general interpretation of anomalies, Bro is good idea. my
question is,why anomaly detection components of BRO are not added to the
SNORT?
