Changing the adapter type to E1000 did get rid of the RX-ERRs, but I'm still getting intermittent insert errors in barnyard2. Maybe VMware is reassigning memory that hasn't been used in awhile? Will try reserving memory. On 11/3/2013 8:17 AM, Dave Corsello wrote:
Thanks, elz. This makes sense. I think the problem might be related to the kind of network adapter I had configured for the MySQL box. This server and one other MySQL server were the only two that I configured with a "Flexible" adapter, and those are the only two that show any RX-ERR packets. I just changed them both to E1000 to see if it makes a difference. Thanks for your help.
