Configuration Issues

Hi,

I am a new user of Snort. I am having problem configuring the new version
release which is 2.9.5.5 on my Window 7. It does not seem to work. I have
read several materials and watched several videos and followed it step by
step yet it is not working for me despite installing all the other required
packages (WinPcap and Rules).

What I noticed from what I read and the videos I watched is that they all
used the previous versions of Snort therefore can anyone provide the link
where I can get the previous versions of Snort.
