Access denied for user 'snort'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Hello,

  I have tried a lot to get access to the report generated after running
the Snort IDS. I have performed all the configuration steps given in the
Snort installation guide293. But still I am getting the error " Access
denied for user 'snort'@'localhost' (using password: YES) ". Please, help
me in this regard.
