swatch

I am trying to configure swatch to email me alerts from snort, however I do
not think I have it configured correctly.
when I start swatch using swatch -c /etc/swatch/swatchrc I get an error:

Undefined subroutine &main::subject called at /root/.swatch_script.2645
line 98, <TAIL> line 132

can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong.
