Snort rule to detect inside hosts!

Hi all,

I think my request is little bit strange! I am  working on a project and I
want to assign the inside hosts (IP addresses). So, is there any snort
rule(s) can only detect inside hosts without any activity?! I am thinking
about Nmap, but I preferred to email you first. Sorry about disturbing.
