Ethernet options

  Hi all,

  I just would like to know what Ethernet options are safe to enable
for snort running as IPS and that will help it's performance

  I guess RX and TX crc offloading should be safe but how about
scatter gather (sg) and generic receive offloading (GRO)?

  As running in IPS I understand Large receive offloading (lro) is NOT
a good idea
