Bug - Segmentation fault with empty HOME_NET

Just FYI,

I accidentally set the HOME_NET variable to [], i.e. the empty string.
When trying to start snort in testmode or in normal live mode you, the 
process die with a segmentation fault.

Perhaps some sanity check would be in place?
