Ditto here, more tied down to snortsam which we use rather heavily, and the
builds are
always full of surprises :-(

Have been waiting on a barnyard2-ish post-processor that could do the snortsam
bits so
that snort could stay "stock" but so far hasn't materialized.

Anyone been down that route?  (I seem to recall there was a barnyard plugin
for snortsam
functionality at one time...)
 
If you can locate the original Barnyard SnortSam patch, please forward to me. I
can try and implement it into BY2.
 
Never used SnortSam. Sounds like a good excuse to try it :-)
