Re: Older Snort Downloads

I'm pretty sure (trying to remember) that we didn't put them up on the new
site because of security issues in older versions and just generally trying
to discourage people from downloading ancient versions and then showing up
with "why won't snort 2.2.x load this rule" questions.  I know a lot of the
older releases are still available on places like PacketStorm so you could
try looking there if you need it right away.  I'll check and see if we're
planning on putting the older versions someplace central for historical
purposes but I suspect they've been put on ice for a reason.  Maybe we
should have a museum section of the site dedicated to old versions of the
software (and the site!!). :)

Is there a specific version you're looking for?
