Re: snort + barnyard problem; base not updating but things seem to be working

Run Barnyard in non-daemon mode, with a -v, see if the log files or  
the screen dump tells you anything.

IIRC, you can't specify the name of the sensor in the barnyard.conf  
file until after barnyard has created the sensor in the db.

Are you specifying the name of the sensor in the barnyard.conf?
