snort+mysql+problems

hi

how often is snort-mysql meant to log to a mysql database?
is it meant to be when theres x amount of logs? or every day? or all the 
time?

because i set it up on 2 computers but none of them have logged anything 
to the mysql database all day. (well one computer did log some stuff to 
the mysql database at 08:00 but hasn't since)
i set up tcpdump to watch for mysql traffic but i haven't seen any 
traffic all day.

is this normal? or have i broken something?
