snort 2.3.0RC2 quits after a day and needs to be restarted

Mysnort 2.3.0RC2 quits after about a day of logging, I have it running 
like so: snort -deD -c /etc/snort/snort.conf. My config is the standard 
that comes with fedora3 if any one any idea about why this is, please 
email me.
