RE: Problem compiling MySQL Support into Snort

To recap my problem, i keep getting the "MySQL support is not compiled into
this build of Snort".. ive tried using configure --with-mysql= and every
path i can think of, including /bin.  I did a make distclean before
recompiling.  Is there anythign im missing here?  or should i just go with
the binary with it included (im ready to give up at this point).  If so,
what do i need to do to make sure the old version of Snort is uninstalled
before i install the binary?  any help is appreciated.

Did you compile mysql, download the binary distro, or install with the
OS?  If you did it with the OS I believe it is path is /bin

Mandrake 10
Snort 2.1.1
MySQL 4.0.1

Ive built Snort in the past this way with no problems on past version
with no problems.  Any suggestions?
