Mike,
How are you running snort? Did you specify any log file in the command to run snort or in snort.conf file.
If the log file does not exist, create one and restart snort.

Hello.
I just recently installed snort on a mandrake box. It seems to work just fine. However, I cannot seem to find any log files. Nothing in /var/log. Updated locate search turns up no log file or config file for snort. I'm confused. Thanks
Mike
