A couple things to try:First make sure your apache installation has been successfully restarted, this will rule out the fact that your conf's are right but not active.
Second take a look at your php.ini file and check "short_open_tag"Many times a php script will start with <? and if that is set to off then it will not read / parse the php file as a .php file.
Third, throw the following into a file and see if it functions. <? phpinfo(); ?>

When I go to the web page I see only the text. Any suggestions. The web server is running fine and I can see the generic apache page ok. This is the second time I have reached this point and experienced the same problem. My hardware is pretty low end P233, 256ram, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Just makes it a little slow.Any suggestions? The php modules loads into the httpd.conf file automatically and I verified it is there. Does a process need to be stopped and then restarted? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Jeff ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
