Thanks for the feedback.

We have no "official" support, which to us means we don't promise to get
back to you with an answer within 2 hours... but we will get back to you.
The mailing list is coming soon.

I think the guys might be working on educational pricing, so look for that
soon.

We are putting better screenshots up this weekend.

If people buy WatchHog instead of Pure Secure, then that's good! But also
if it gets used and well known like ACID, then that's awesome! I think it's
better than ACID (certainly for the purposes we designed it for), but it is
also more complex to install than simply loading PHP. You have to have
Java, Tomcat, and the java-mysql connector. We tried to make step-by-step
instructions to overcome that. So I guess we will see.

I really appreciate the feedback.

Randy Walinga.

WatchHog is a web-based snort alert analyser/reporting tool that queries
an
SQL database in real-time.

I see a few major problems.

1) No support for the freeware version - you should at least have a users
mailing list.
2) No freeware version for education - a deal killer for us - we're poor
3) Not open source - a deal killer for many
4) The screenshots aren't visible enough to even tell if the product is
useful

I appreciate the work you've done, but suspect you'll sell mostly to those
who would have purchased Demarc or some other commercial solution.
